We are pioneering the digitalization of transformers, while working on the frontier of renewable energy and ultra-high voltage AC & DC applications. The role as Market Manager - Transformer focuses on Singapore , to plan and ensure execution of Business Unit and Product Group sales strategy for assigned area, to achieve both qualitative and quantitative targets for products and services in a profitable way. Oversee project execution management in the assigned area. Responsible for leading and developing and coaching the Sales and Project Management organization proactively, to exceed the sales targets through high performance in order to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

Strategy: Create, plans and implement sales strategy, strategic sales and business development initiatives, in alignment with global sales strategy. Provide input to Business Units, Product Groups and Hub BU strategy, achieve sales performance targets in respect of both budgets and sales, project execution efficiency, including profit and lost in assigned area. Volume and profit Selling products/services to customers, focusing on volume, mix and profitability targets for assigned Business Units. Sales Targets: Establish sales targets and ensure sales achievement through regular oversight, definition and implementation of improvement plans as needed. Customer acquisition: Identify opportunities at existing and potential new customers within defined geographical area, determine plans for acquisition and allocate resources. Information sharing: Coordinate the flow of information for sales activities and transactions, include leads, billings, orders, contracts, etc. and evaluate data to ensure achievement of goals. Monitor and provide reports to the Marketing and Sales organization on market intelligence. Customer relations: Support the development of strong relationships with key customers, build and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers and ensure efficient marketing communications. Volume, cash flow management, profit and cost: Ensure achievement of sales volume and product mix targets by setting appropriate price for sales and proper control the project execution costs and operation costs to ensure profitability. Participate on negotiations of key contracts and ensure agreement/alignment with supply factories on contract terms and conditions and make sure positive cash flow through proper contract negotiation with customers and smooth execution/collection. Risk: Monitor client financial status and reports any change regarding risk to relevant internal partner teams, identify and manage potential risks relating to contract agreements across customers/channels and ensure on-time cash collection as per contract. Sales process: Take ownership of the sales processes, all relevant training and development plans, action and programs. Ensure integrity and trade compliant in sales activities. Project Execution: Ensure the execution of the projects in the assigned area according to agreed terms and conditions of the contracts in terms of schedule, quality, customer satisfaction, cost management and on-time cash collection through smooth and tight communication with supply factories and customers during project execution of not only contracts signed by the Local BU, but also direct supply contracts signed by factories with customers. Ensure proper implementation of CCRP tool and surety on safety and integrity during project execution. People leadership and development: Ensure (with HR Manager support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed. Coach, motivate and develop direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies, drive and ensure know-how sharing and cross-collaboration.

Your background:


Technical university qualification is the must, electrical background is advantage. 10 years in sales experience. Good knowledges and relationship with Singapore Power,(SPPG), Local Transport Authority (LTA) and Public Utilities Board (PUB) business. Experienced in managing a team of 10 or more Leadership mindset. Experience in working in a multinational company setup is highly desired. Independent and able to work collaboratively with cross functions and business units Softskills required : Problem solving, negotiation decision making, adaptability, agility
