:About the Role:Grade Level (for internal use): 08S&P Global Commodity InsightsThe Role: Market research analystThe Team: S&P Global Commodity Insights Costs and Supply Chain helps energy companies to effectively monitor, forecast, and manage major capital costs and subsequently operating cost investments for onshore and offshore development projects.The Impact: We also provide actionable market intelligence to support energy companies and service companies\' supply chain, procurement, strategic planning, and market intelligence, and category management teams in making better supply chain and business decisions.What\'s in it for you:A good learning environment for one to start and expand one\'s career in business and market intelligence. Firsthand exposure to the workings of the offshore EPC industry from both the buyers\' and sellers\' perspectives.Responsibilities:

• Understanding and monitoring of the offshore energy (oil and gas, and renewables) EPC market segments within the Engineering and Fabrication capability group including, but not limited to those stated below:
• Tracking, analyzing, and forecasting demand trends, such as project developments, buyer\'s preference, etc.
• Tracking, analyzing, and forecasting supply trends, such as contractors\' capability, capacity, competitiveness, etc.
• Tracking, analyzing, and forecasting cost/price and contracting trends, such as contracting mode, prices, etc.
• Identifying and articulating supply chain optimization and sourcing opportunities.
• Writing market and company reports. Market research and database maintenance. Client and market engagements, and presentations.

What We\'re Looking For:

• Practical knowledge in MS Excel-based modelling, database construction and maintenance. Knowledge in the PowerBI, Python programing, etc. is an advantage.
• Excellent market and data research skills.
• Proficient in statistical analyses, such as regression analysis.
• Strong business and commercial acumen.
• Able to collect and examine information and determine its importance to the subject matter.
• Comfortable with working in a desk bound, highly routine environment.

Basic Qualifications:Good Bachelor\'s degree in preferably, but not necessarily in Business, Economics, Statistics, or Engineering.About S&P Global Commodity Insights
