Job Description
We are currently partnering with a very well established Taiwanese Bank based in Singapore looking for a Market Risk Officer to join the team.Responsibilities:
- Risk Oversight: Monitor Treasury\'s trading activities and ensure they adhere to risk limits.
- Data Integrity: Maintain accurate and reliable risk data and reporting.
- Issue Escalation: Promptly report any breaches or exceptions to relevant parties.
- Risk Analysis: Analyze risk trends and provide recommendations to Treasury.
- System Management: Manage bond definitions and limits in the trading system.
- Stress Testing: Assess the Branch\'s resilience to adverse market conditions.
- Policy Development: Create and update risk-related guidelines and procedures.
- Efficiency Improvement: Automate risk management processes for better quality and productivity.
- Project Involvement: Contribute to risk-related projects and testing.
- Experiences in using VBA is a must.
- 1-2 years of market risk experiences from the banking industry would be a plus.
- Good understanding of financial products
