An exclusive VP, Market Risk - Treasury role has just become available at a reputable financial insitution in Singapore. You will be reporting to the Chief Risk Officer.

About the VP, Market Risk - Treasury role:
In this role, your key responsibility is to manage the liquidity and market risk in APAC.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and assess risks in the Treasury and Foreign Exchange portfolios to ensure that it is consistent to the bank\'s risk appetite

• Identify issues that require escalation to senior management and provide recommendations for resolution

• Monitor risk exposures and prepare daily liquidity reports, monthly/quarterly reports

• Maintain procedures and documentation related to risk management and risk reporting

• Undertake model validation to support model risk attestation and reviewing computations of key liquidity coverage metrics

• Review risk policies and frameworks (including those covering liquidity risk, collateral management, structural risk, liquidity stress testing, valuations) and ensure consistency across APAC region

• Review and provide advice and counsel on Liquidity Stress Testing frameworks and exercises.

To succeed in this VP, Market Risk - Treasury role, you need to have at least 8 years of experiences in liquidity/market risk experiences with knowledge in market products (FX, Fixed Income).

Key Requirements:

• University Degree and certification in CFA/FRM/PRM an advantage

• Strong knowledge of Asset Liability Management, Treasury, FX is required

• Familiar with the capital market products in the risk or treasury space

• Skilled in data analytics and visualization tools - Excel, Tableau, PowerBI
