We are currently looking for a Marketing and Communications Executive in Singapore. We are looking for a curious and enthusiastic candidate with a love for writing great copy; an interest in technology or tech startup innovation; and a desire to be exposed to a myriad of industries and topics, from sustainability to smart cities. You enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
You will help to define the company’s marketing strategy and execute that strategy. You will also design and execute campaigns for our corporate and government clients. This involves a range of activities, such as creating a communication plan, writing copy for EDMs, running a social media campaign, and providing support at events.

What you would do
As a Marketing and Communications Executive, you will be responsible for:
Identifying target customer segments and mapping out an effective strategy for our digital platform
Updating and maintaining the hygiene and integrity of our database and social media channels
Conceiving and executing marketing programmes and campaigns, from conception to execution, to drive awareness of Padang & Co as well as our innovation ecosystem platform
Connecting with partners, professional communities, special interest groups, and other ecosystem enablers
Creating engaging content for our websites, newsletters, social media channels, blogs, and ensure content consistency across our channels
Measuring, reporting and optimise the performance of marketing campaigns and channels
Help conceive and execute events for our Partners and Members to provide additional opportunities for connections and collaborations, and execute campaigns in support of these events
JOB REQUIREMENT
Attributes we require of you
Excellent English writing, grammar, and proofreading skills
A proven track record in marketing strategy and execution, and an ability to work independently, which means you have no less than two years of work experience
Working knowledge of social media marketing, lead generation campaigns, SEM and SEO, and up-to-date with the best practices
Hands-on experience with web analytics tools, CRM and marketing automation platforms
Comfortable working with numbers, making sense of metrics, and presenting figures and insights to management
Excellent attention to detail
A love for great content and witty copy, and a good eye for aesthetics
Attributes we love to see

These are advantageous:
Experience in creating or maintaining communities, for example, building an online forum, launching an ambassador programme, creating an event series, publishing an e-newsletter, etc.
Prior exposure to the tech startup ecosystem
