Position Overview:

As a Marketing and Content Intern, you will play a vital role in supporting our marketing team in executing various promotional campaigns and creating engaging content across different channels.

You will be working directly under the Head of Marketing and be exposed to a fast-paced startup environment, with exposure to the financial services industry and fintech to solve the problems faced by financial institutions and regulators globally via innovation and through hackathons.

This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of marketing, content creation, and digital media while working closely with seasoned professionals in the industry. You will contribute to the company\'s overall marketing strategy, enhance brand visibility, and help drive user engagement and acquisition.

  • Content Creation:
  • Lead in developing high-quality and compelling content for various marketing channels, including resource articles and whitepapers, social media posts, email newsletters, website content, infographics, and videos.
  • Work alongside with the marketing team to brainstorm and execute content ideas that align with the brand\'s tone and style.
  • Conduct research to gather relevant information and data for content creation.
  • Ensure content adheres to SEO best practices to improve search engine visibility.
  • Social Media Management:
  • Support the management of social media accounts by scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and responding to comments and messages.
  • Participate and lead in social media strategy discussions and contribute ideas to improve audience reach and engagement.
  • Email Marketing:
  • Assist in creating and deploying email campaigns using marketing automation tools.
  • Monitor email performance metrics and suggest improvements based on the analysis.
  • Market Research and Analysis:
  • Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitors, and customer preferences.
  • Analyse marketing campaign performance data and assist in generating reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Event Support:
  • Help put together, creatively ideate, organise and coordinate promotional events, trade shows, webinars, or virtual events.
  • Collaborate with the team to create event-related content and materials.
  • Graphic Design and Visual Content:
  • Support the marketing team in creatively designing graphics, visuals, and promotional materials to enhance marketing efforts.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with other departments such as sales, product, and customer support to align marketing efforts with the company\'s overall objectives.
Requirements

Requirements:
  • Current enrolment in a relevant degree program (e.g., Marketing, Mass Communications, PR or a related field) or recent graduate.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using social media platforms and a basic understanding of social media marketing strategies.
  • Familiarity with content creation tools and platforms (e.g. Figma, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Basic knowledge of SEO principles and content marketing best practices would be a bonus.
  • Creative thinking and a keen eye for design and visual aesthetics.
  • Self-starter with initiative, with project management and leadership skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic work environment.
