Skills and Qualifications:
  • Copywriting skills for both short-form (e.g. posts and emails) and long-form (e.g. blogs, articles and case studies) types of content.
  • Experience in Linkedin profile management.
  • A graduate of any course related to Marketing/ Digital Marketing or Copywriting/ Journalism.
  • With Engineering or Manufacturing knowledge/ experience is favored.
  • Experience in Marketing a service or product (written or verbal).
  • Basic website management - content and images (not programming) - eg. WordPress.
  • General software experience in emails, CRM, CMS including overall navigation, content update, master data update, workflow management, etc - no specific software brand expectation.
  • Proficient in Office365 applications.
  • Strong attention to detail for grammar and online best practice (readability standards, call to action placement, etc).
  • Knowledge in Marketing concepts and strategies, including lead generation, brand building, and customer profiling.
  • Social Media, in particular, Linkedin.
  • Basic editing of photo, video, and other forms of media.
  • Basic creation and editing of graphics and images.
  • Familiarity with Australian/British English writing style and/or Oxford English Style Guide. All times in all communications are in AEST Australian Eastern Standard Time (or AEDT).
What you will do:
  • Marketing:
  • Manage a personal LinkedIn Profile daily
  • Manage and maintain Client's personal LinkedIn profile as per specific company's instructions and guidelines
  • Edit photos, videos, and graphics (basic)
  • Manage website content - will have back-end direct access to a website platform
  • Post in other social media platforms (FB, Twitter)
  • Design, improve and maintain marketing collateral
  • Flyers (profile, product description)
  • Icons (email signature, header, profile pic, etc)
  • Business cards, letterheads
  • Content Writing:
  • Create new posts for LinkedIn (Client will provide topics, content, structure, proofreading) - mostly related to Continuous Improvement, Lean Six Sigma, Business Acumen, Operational Leadership, Quality & Safety
  • Create case studies and success stories (information and data to be provided)
  • Create email newsletters and content through CRM
  • Develop blogs, articles, and website pages in line with online best practices for search and readability
  • Research and gather data on content-related topics
  • Operations / Administration:
  • Maintain CRM data and implement broadcast emails.
  • Research, migrate, and commission a new CRM (potential future project).
  • Format and improve PowerPoint presentations and other training materials.
  • Improve and format client reports.
  • Create templates, forms, and reports as required.
  • Troubleshoot any basic IT issues/problems (not expecting an IT expert) by exploring software functionality, researching and seeking support from software helpdesk - Document procedures and business processes of major aspects of the business.
  • Manage attendance, registration, and preparation of online training events.
  • Attend and administer online training sessions (supporting the training facilitator).
  • Search, improve and maintain software applications based on user needs.
  • Improve and manage file storage.
  • All other required administrative tasks as they come up.
