We are looking for a Marketing Communications Specialist (APJ) to manage DNV \xe2\x80\x93 Supply Chain & Product Assurance (SCPA) divisions marketing and communications activities for markets within the APJ region with a focus on Australia, Japan & South Korea.

The SCPA Marketing & Communications unit is tasked with supporting our organization in driving the industry transition towards a digital, efficient, and eco-friendly future; through broadening our reputation as a thought leader and supporting revenue generation. To achieve this goal, it will be important to implement integrated marketing communication strategies on a global, regional, and local scale. The Marketing Communications Specialist (APJ) will be responsible for developing and implementing a localised strategic plan, which will include both external and internal communications; event marketing, pr and media relations, and effective digital marketing programs.

Reporting to the Marketing Communications Manager (APAC) in the Supply Chain and Product Assurance business area, the Marketing Communications Specialist (APJ) will work to meet business requirements, goals, and KPIs and will have the overall responsibility for building and maintaining the DNV reputation in the region.

This position is based in the DNV Singapore headquarters.

The Marketing Communications Specialist (APJ) will have a range of responsibilities, including:

  • Act as a professional advisor to the business in South Korea, Japan, and Australia on a day-to-day basis, collaborating closely with business managers, experts, and consultant.
  • Translate complex business strategies and tactics into comprehensive, integrated marketing and communications programs, ensuring effective implementation and measuring performance against SMART targets.
  • Work closely with experts and consultants to develop and maintain impactful tools and materials, including fact sheets, case studies, blog posts, op-eds, presentations, product/service overviews, and other collateral.
  • Proactively build and maintain relationships with local media in South Korea, Japan, and Australia, initiating and writing press releases, and driving media campaigns to increase brand awareness and thought leadership.
  • Collaborate with local agencies to support media relations efforts, ensuring effective communication and outreach to the target audience.
  • Manage social media activity in the region, including local platforms like KakaoTalk (Korea), Line (Japan) to enhance brand visibility, establish thought leadership, and drive lead generation efforts.
  • Develop and execute a regionally and locally focused event program to support business objectives and enhance brand presence.
  • Ensure regional webpages are regularly updated and relevant for the South Korea, Japan, and Australia markets.
  • Provide support to the business in stakeholder relations and issue management in the target markets.
  • Manage translation and localization efforts to ensure effective communication across diverse languages in South Korea and Japan, coordinating with external vendors or internal resources as needed.
  • Monitor and report on marketing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the region in a structured and regular manner to the Regional/BU Director, ensuring measurable return on marketing investment.
  • Play an internal role in educating employees and managers about the brand, recent business successes, and market opportunities, fostering brand ambassadors within the organization.
Position Qualifications

Position Qualifications
  • University degree in Marketing, Media management, Business Administration or similar.
  • At least three years of proven external marketing communications experience in an agency or B2B business environment, preferably within the Asia-Pacific region; a focus on South Korea, Japan, and Australia would be an advantage.
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience with marketing automation, SEO, Google Analytics, and Oracle Eloqua marketing automation suite, or a comparable alternative platforms.
  • Experience of preparing short-form content for social media and delivering hybrid customer events.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of an international, virtual team.
  • Experience of working within professional services with a focus on sustainability, ESG or product assurance would be an advantage.

  • Excellent fluency in English is required; proficiency in another language would be highly advantageous, particularly Japanese or Korean.
