Job Description

The Strategic Communications Group runs a training platform for PR and marketing teams, with an objective of helping communicators and marketers level up in their skill sets and capabilities.We also work with clients on providing communications and marketing consultancy.We are seeking a Marketing Communications Intern to join our team.The candidate will have a background in marketing/communications/arts/social sciences or equivalent. We are looking for an entry level candidate, or a student, freelancer who has excess capacity (time) to work on a project with us.This is a primarily remote role with fixed meetings during the tenure.Responsibilities

• Design: Create visually appealing designs for digital platforms, ensuring consistency with brand identity.
• Social Media Management: Manage social media profiles, creating engaging content, responding to comments, and growing our online presence.
• Content Creation: Develop compelling content for our website, blog, and social media platforms.
• Video Editing: Edit videos using Capcut for use on the website, community platform and social media platforms.
• Events and activations: Support events and activations (incl. weekends) with coordination, photography and videography

Qualifications

• Background in marketing/communications/arts/social sciences or equivalent courses of study
• No need for a degree or diploma, we are open to students as well
• Proficiency (or the ability to gain proficiency) in using apps such as camera, video editing tools, such as Capcut; and task management apps such as Trello, Google tools, and other content production apps
• Good (to above average) written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks concurrently
