Job Description

The Strategic Communications Group provide solutions for organisations and communicators through advisory, fractional services and a community-focused platform.We are seeking a proactive Marketing Communications Intern to join our team. He/She can be an entry level candidate, a student, or a freelancer.The ideal candidate will play a role in supporting our events and activations, as well as contribute to content creation/production and execution.This is a primarily remote-first role \xe2\x80\x93 based physically in Singapore \xe2\x80\x93 with fixed meetings during the period.Key Responsibilities:

• Event Support: Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution from pre- to post-events and activations.
• Social Media Content Creation: Use applications such as social media apps, and CapCut to edit and produce engaging social media posts, including videos and visual content, aligned with key narratives and messaging.
• Photography: Capture social-media friendly photos at events, behind-the-scenes moments, and other relevant activities to visually represent key narratives and messaging.
• Market Research: Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities, and audience preferences to inform and enhance our marketing strategies.
• Administrative Support: Provide general administrative assistance as needed.

Qualifications:

• Must be based in Singapore
• Background in/currently pursuing marketing/communications/arts/social sciences or equivalent courses of study
• Strong interest in marketing communications, events, and social media.
• Proficiency (or the ability to gain proficiency) in using apps such as camera, video editing tools, such as Capcut; and task management apps such as Trello, Google tools, and other content production apps
• Good (to above average) written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks concurrently
