Job Description


The Marketing Manager is a key leadership role within the Essential Health (EH) Franchise organization. This is a pivotal role leading the strategy and innovation focused on the APAC markets. This position reports into the Essential Health Marketing Director and is based in Singapore. The Marketing Manager will lead development, planning and execution of both short and long-term business initiatives for Essential Health. Major job duties include development of new product innovation, from agile innovation and global rollouts to new technologies and benefit platforms. In addition, this person will support the local marketing team to activate innovation and claims with customers and consumers and build brand equity. Specifically, the Marketing Manager will:

  • Lead projects within APAC, with a deep understanding of lead market local financial plan, market needs, consumer fundamentals and customer KPIs
    • Develop close partnership with market commercial team and cross functional team
    • Gain local insight / market intimacy to design plans to meet operating plan goals
      • Lead business and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and support strategic priorities and deliver innovation pipeline
      • Pioneer use of big data to generate powerful consumer insights for innovation
      • Co-create commercial innovation with key customers for Essential Health, both on core business as well as through agile innovation
    • Lead project teams, partnering w/ R&D, supply chain, PMO, CBI, Packaging and Design to conceptualize, research, develop and deliver AP initiatives and deploy relevant global pipeline
    • Partner with the local team to develop forecasts, pricing and marketing recommendations to deliver new products to market and deliver successful innovation reviews with customers
    • Lead analysis and execution of local P&L initiatives such as CIP / Re-siting, RGM, portfolio and pricing recommendations
    • Influence regional and global innovation and content as well as make it fit for use to deliver to market needs
    • Lead HCP marketing initiatives for APAC & partner with markets, CXO & Global professional teams to shape & deliver a strong professional recommendation model & HCP content
The Marketing Manager Essential Health will share ownership of the markets P&L, equity and innovation goals, with a strong working knowledge of local business dynamics and shared ownership of activities that drive delivery to business goals (NTS, GP, MNI, FCF and Market Share). He/she will operate with agility, curiosity and an entrepreneurial mindset to innovate, learn and champion best practices in partnership with cross functional partners and marketing counterparts in the US, AP region and locally.

  • A BA degree is required. Masters' in business or marketing specialization preferred
  • A minimum of 7 years of progressive marketing experience or a combination of sales and marketing experience is required. CPG marketing experience is preferred. Cross category/ franchise experience is a plus
  • Experience marketing in a digital world, (i.e., social media, e-commerce, analytics, on-line) is required
  • Candidates must have good communication and influencing skills, be able to work in a team environment, and be customer/market oriented
  • Ability to collaborate, lead and influence within a cross functional team structure is required
  • Strong business analytics, consumer insights development, understanding of core marketing levers are required
  • Must possess demonstrated leadership and delivery of consistently strong results
  • Strong communication is required
  • Ability to travel up to 20% is required
