The Brand Manager Essential Health Franchise is a key role within the Essential Health (EH) Franchise organization. This is a pivotal role supporting the strategy & deployment for Essential health in brand building & innovation in APAC, with the ultimate objective of building & shaping EH brands rooted in Health, Science & Sustainability. This position reports into the Essential Health need state lead for APAC and is based in Singapore.
The Brand Manager will have the key task of driving the Essential Health business for APAC by leading the development of the brand building, commercial and product innovations, and sustainability initiatives to deliver accelerated growth. This will entail leading and participating in agile squads and scaling up best practices from NA, EMEA regions, finding synergies (consumer trends, customers, etc.) across the APAC markets & building the roadmap in APAC. In addition, this person will support the local marketing team to activate commercial innovation and claims with customers and consumers with market specific insights and opportunities.
Specifically, the Senior Brand Manager will:

  • Lead and deliver Johnson’s Baby and Women’s Health initiatives which will require to:
  • Execute key Innovation, Commercial Innovation & Brand building initiatives on an on-going basis along with the APAC Need state lead
  • Gain local insight / market intimacy to design fit for market plans
  • Develop close partnership with the market commercial team and cross functional team
  • Lead project teams, partnering with Regional functions across R&D, supply chain, PMO, CBI, CD, Packaging and Design
  • Partner and work closely with the local marketing & CD teams to develop roll-out plans, incorporating customer feedback and market recommendations
  • Build & execute the communication & claims roadmap across consumer/customer touchpoints
  • Lead business and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and deliver the sustainability & Cost Innovation pipeline & programs
  • Support analysis and execution of local P&L initiatives such as CIP / Re-siting, RGM, portfolio and pricing recommendations for APAC markets
  • Deliver Innovation & CI projects with a deep understanding of each market local financial plan, market needs, consumer fundamentals and customer KPIs
  • Drive adaptation and deployment of proven Regional and Global playbooks for Essential Health brands in and out of APAC – for superior brand building around science, health & sustainability

The Brand Manager Essential Health franchise will operate with agility, curiosity, and an entrepreneurial mindset to innovate, learn, and champion best practices in partnership with cross functional partners and marketing teams in APAC & global teams.
Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Consumer Health business to create a new publicly traded company. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 24 months, and it will be subject to legal requirements, and other customary conditions and approvals.
Should you accept this position, it is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, you would be an employee of a new entity within New Consumer Health.

Qualifications
  • A BA degree is required. Master’s in business or marketing specialization preferred.
  • A minimum of 4-5 years of progressive marketing experience or a combination of sales and marketing experience is required. CPG marketing experience is preferred. Cross category/ franchise experience is a plus.
  • Experience marketing in a digital world, (i.e., social media, e-commerce, analytics, on-line) is required.
  • Candidates must have good communication and influencing skills, be able to work in a team environment, and be customer/market oriented
  • Ability to collaborate, lead and influence within a cross functional team structure is required
  • Strong business analytics, consumer insights development, understanding of core marketing levers are required
  • Must possess demonstrated leadership and delivery of consistently strong results
  • Strong fluency in English is required.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% is required.
