Johnson & Johnson International (Singapore) Pte Ltd is recruiting for a Marketing Manager (Haematology), located in Singapore.

This is a marketing manager role for haematology, directly reporting to the business unit lead of oncology. The incumbent is responsible for supervising the development of the entire haematology portfolio strategy and supervising a marketer as their direct report on the assigned portfolio. This person will also work in close collaboration with the local cross-functional team as well as the regional team to craft and win in the business plans, with the aim of making our products available to every patient and physician who needs them.

The role provides strong leadership, coaching, and strategy development to the direct report. As a people manager, the individual is expected to meet or exceed the team\'s business goals. The individual will also be involved in strategic business planning, developing, and performing brand marketing strategies to achieve good product positioning. At this level, the role has increased responsibility including, but not limited to, additional skills, multiple lines/products, diverse teams, etc.

Critical to this role\'s success will be the individual\'s leadership skills to engage the cross-functional team in launch readiness, access strategies, and work well with all levels of internal and external partners.

Key Responsibilities :

Marketing Responsibilities

  • Develop overall haematology portfolio strategy, launch strategy for new pipelines and marketing plan(s) in alignment with global, regional and local strategic direction.
  • Timely execution of marketing plan(s), programs and materials in collaboration with sales and medical affairs, including regular monitoring and adjustment as the need arises.
  • Enhance market/patient access for our products through innovative ways while navigating the constantly evolving oncology access landscape.
  • Accountable for leading and implementing the launch plans, brand plans and mapping out the long-range financial plans.
  • Engage and develop KOLs/speakers and key prescribers through relevant engagement activities and field visits.
  • Conduct regular product training and monthly business reviews.
  • Perform relevant market research and analysis to support decision-making, including regular market analysis and review to tweak strategies as appropriate.
  • Ensure operational excellence in handling vendors, promotional budget, inventory forecast and timely submission of reports.
  • And other such duties/assignments from management from time to time
People management responsibilities
  • Lead, train, coach, empower and develop marketing capabilities in the marketing team to achieve business goals and retain talent.
  • Provides strategic guidance to the team on the portfolio strategy and positioning of the brands to increase our competitive edge.
  • Analyse therapeutic area market data to find areas of opportunities and address threats as a team.
  • Consistently promote and cultivate the highest standards of professionalism, integrity and compliance at all times, including our Global Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and related policies and procedures.
Qualifications

Education:
  • Minimum bachelor\'s degree with a preference for Science/Pharmacy/Engineering/Business/Marketing Field.
Experience and Skills:

Required:
  • Validated experience of over 6 to 8 years in the pharmaceutical industry and strong knowledge of the Singapore Healthcare System as this is a Singapore market-focused role.
  • At least 3 to 5 years of marketing/product management experience with new product launch experience in pharmaceuticals.
  • Agility and resilience to adapt swiftly in an ever-changing complex business environment.
  • Strong business insight, and strategic and critical thinking skills with an understanding of healthcare ecosystem trends.
  • Ability to handle relationships with HCP, key institutions, professional associations and key decision-makers.
  • Ability to resolve challenges with the cross-functional team and drive a common business goal across the brand team of internal stakeholders - Sales, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Regulatory Affairs, Healthcare Compliance, Legal, Government Affairs, Training, Supply Chain, Commercial Quality and Commercial Excellence.
Preferred:
  • 1 to 2 years of people management experience.
  • Experience in the therapeutic area of oncology and/or haematology will be an added advantage.
