The Role

Devise creative public relations strategies that fit company profile

Develop effective PR plans using appropriate strategies and tactics

Organize and coordinate PR activities, including writing of press releases and liaising with the press, pitching to the media

Use a variety of channels (TV, press, internet etc.) to maximize company exposure

Liaise with marketing professionals to ensure consistency in promoting corporate image

Arrange for interviews or public speaking events and construct press releases

Advise company on handling sensitive public issues to preserve reputation

Analyze results of PR campaigns or efforts and prepare reports

Assist in marketing and advertising promotional activities (e.g. social media, direct mail and web)

Ideal Profile

Interest in media relations

Drafting press releases

Strong writing skills are fundamental to a communications role; applicants must be able to demonstrate solid writing skills

A basic understanding of the media and the Singapore media landscape

Basic business acumen; knowledge of current news at both a local and global level

Basic organization skills; participants may take projects from multiple leaders

Team player who is committed and enthusiastic; open to feedback and coaching

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
