Actively seek out new sales opportunities on both B2B, B2C and eCommerce platforms.
Contribute to the development of category and product marketing strategies.
Execute marketing and sales aspects of new product launch.
Develop marketing materials and artwork relating to new and existing product packaging.
Contribute to the development and execution of brand advertising.
Generate, present, and apply insights from monthly business analysis (category, competitor, customer).
Uncover category, competitive, and consumer insights and recommend appropriate course of action.
Maintain and monitor project timelines and follow up with cross-functional team members on an ongoing basis.
Other specific tasks include:
Meet with potential clients and listen to their requirements and concerns
Prepare and deliver sale presentations on products
Create reviews and reports with sales and financial data
Ensure the availability of stock for sales and services
Handle complaints or objections and feedback to core team
SGUnited Mid-Career Pathways Trainee will be trained in aspects of Marketing Strategic Planning, Digital Marketing and Business Strategic Planning.
This traineeship position is for 6 months, under the SGUnited Mid-Career Pathways Trainee Programme. Suitable trainees will be converted to full-time staff upon completion of the programme.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
Degree/Diploma in Business Management/Marketing/relevant discipline.
Strong strategic, analytical, and problem solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively across functions, work independently, and take initiative when appropriate.
Creative thinking and flexibility – ability to multitask and handle pressure in a fast paced environment.
Time management skills and ability to prioritize projects as necessary.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Strong in Excel, PowerPoint.
Knowledge of administration and project management skills.
Experience in advertising and marketing of personal care products and any eCommerce sales background is a bonus.
