Job Summary



The Martech Data Engineering specialist position is responsible for the technical deployment, configuration, and ongoing management of Adobe Real-Time Customer Data Platform (RTCDP). This role focuses on building and optimizing data pipelines, maintaining data quality, and supporting advanced customer segmentation and analytics. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data governance, privacy compliance, and seamless integrations with various platforms.


Responsibilities



Conduct technical deployment and configuration of Adobe RTCDP, including setting up schemas with Adobe Experience Data Model (XDM), data collection, and data ingestion in collaboration with the Asia Data Office. Develop, customize, and optimize data pipelines by implementing attribute mappings, transformation rules, and leveraging Adobe I/O Runtime and APIs for advanced segmentation, real-time event processing, and orchestration. Build and maintain data validation, cleansing, and enrichment workflows using Adobe Experience Platform SDKs and Data Prep capabilities to ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance. Design, manage, and refine XDM schemas, schema extensions, and attribute definitions within Adobe Experience Platform to support precise customer profiling, identity resolution, and reliable data activation. Create, manage, and document audiences in AEP based on business requirements and logic provided by the local Market BA. Collaborate with data governance and privacy teams to implement data access controls, consent management, and ensure compliance with GDPR and CCPA policies within Adobe RTCDP. Develop RTCDP integrations with both Adobe and non-Adobe source and destination connectors as needed. Develop and maintain documentation for data artifacts, including data dictionary, dataflow mapping, architecture, and technical specifications.

Eligibility Requirements



Experience with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), specifically RTCDP and XDM schema design and management. Proficiency in building and optimizing data pipelines and workflows, including data validation, cleansing, and enrichment processes. Knowledge of Adobe I/O Runtime, APIs, and integration methods with both Adobe and non-Adobe solutions. Understanding of data governance, privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA), and consent management best practices. Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including data governance and local business analysts. Ability to develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation
