Job Description

Our esteemed client, an established MNC, is searching for a M&E Engineer (M&E Department):
Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with consultants and subcontractors on shop drawings, samples, and method statements, ensuring all parties are updated on the latest changes.
• Attend project and technical meetings to resolve site issues with owners, consultants, and subcontractors to maintain smooth site progress.
• Verify on-site work complies with approved drawings, specifications, and authority requirements; ensure subcontractors rectify non-compliance promptly.
• Conduct weekly M&E meetings with subcontractors to confirm proper work sequence and prevent clashes with other site activities.
• Coordinate combined services and equipment testing with consultants and contractors to prepare sites for authority inspections.
• Maintain updated documentation and records to ensure readiness for ISO audits.
• Collaborate with the safety department and perform duties within the safety framework, including permit-to-work compliance.
• Proactively resolve site issues to minimize construction delays and maintain schedule adherence.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in M&E services, preferably within a main contractor or subcontractor M&E department.
• Strong technical knowledge of M&E systems and construction standards.
• Proven ability to verify and supervise on-site M&E works and enforce compliance.
• Skilled in coordinating with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve site issues efficiently.
• Familiar with safety protocols and regulatory requirements in construction.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Additional Information:

• Salary: Up to SGD 6,100 +VB (1-2 Months)
• Working Location: City Hall
• Working Hours: 5 Days Work, 9am - 6pm
