About the Roles

We are looking for an M&E Project Coordinator / M&E Engineer to join an organisation within the

building and construction and manufacturing (furniture) sector

on a

permanent basis

. The role is based at

Mandai Estate

and follows a

5-day work week (Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm)

What You'll Be Doing

Plan, coordinate, and oversee all mechanical and electrical (M&E) works on site to ensure smooth execution. Review technical drawings and specifications, identify discrepancies, and report findings to the Project Manager. Maintain, organise, and track all M&E-related documentation and records. Coordinate shop drawings and ensure they align with project specifications and requirements. Supervise and manage M&E sub-contractors to ensure works are carried out accurately and on schedule in accordance with contract drawings and specifications. Liaise with authorities, clients, and sub-contractors on shop drawings, equipment submissions, inspections, testing, and commissioning activities. Organise and chair M&E coordination meetings to align stakeholders and resolve coordination matters. Monitor M&E progress and report updates, issues, and developments to the Project Manager. Work closely with site teams to support seamless workflow and overall project execution. Manage and seek approval for M&E-related changes while ensuring compliance with local regulations, standards, and requirements. Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned to support project needs.

What We're Looking For

A Diploma or higher qualification in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or a related discipline. At least 1 year of relevant experience in M&E coordination within the Singapore construction industry. Ability to work independently with strong problem-solving and communication skills. Familiarity with local codes, industry practices, and authority submission procedures is an advantage.
