We are seeking a dedicated

M&E Project Coordinator/M&E Engineer

to join our team in the

Building and Construction/Manufacturing (Furniture)

industry, based in

Mandai Estate

. This

permanent role

5-day workweek

. This is an excellent opportunity to manage mechanical and electrical works on-site and ensure the smooth coordination and execution of M&E systems throughout the project lifecycle.

What You'll Be Doing

Plan and coordinate all mechanical and electrical (M&E) works on site, ensuring alignment with project goals. Review technical drawings and specifications, identifying discrepancies and reporting them to the Project Manager. Maintain and manage all M&E-related documentation, ensuring records are accurate and up to date. Oversee the coordination of shop drawings, ensuring they meet project requirements. Supervise and manage M&E subcontractors to ensure work is completed on schedule and according to specifications. Liaise with relevant authorities, clients, and subcontractors to discuss shop drawings, equipment submissions, inspections, testing, and commissioning. Organize and lead M&E coordination meetings to ensure all parties are aligned on project progress. Update the Project Manager regularly on M&E progress, issues, and developments. Work collaboratively with site teams to ensure smooth workflow and project execution. Negotiate and seek approvals for M&E-related changes while ensuring compliance with local regulations and standards. Perform other ad-hoc duties as required.

What We're Looking For

Diploma

or higher qualification in

Mechanical & Electrical Engineering

,

Building Services

, or a related field. At least

1 year of relevant M&E coordination experience

in the Singapore construction industry. Ability to work independently and demonstrate strong problem-solving and communication skills. Familiarity with local codes, practices, and authority submission procedures is a plus.
