Roles & Responsibilities .
The Butcher/Meat cutter position provides multiple butchering duties such as, but not limited to, weighing, wrapping, cutting and trimming meat from larger wholesale portions for the retail/ wholesale business.
Key Responsibilities .
1. Operate and perform meat-cutting functions including trimming, deboning, portioning, slicing, and processing according to client requirements.
2. Able to operate the meat cutting & processing machineries at the workplace.
3. Ensure adequate stock to meet demand requirements and adhere with planned & committed delivery schedules.
4. Place order, Receive, inspect, and store meat upon receipt.
5. Ensure that meat handling and storage procedures comply with hygiene and safety standards.
6. Maintain an organised and sanitary work environment.
7. Maintain a good client relationship at the workplace.
8. Handles the cash & credit card payments in a responsible and meticulous manner.
9. Perform other ad-hoc duties as required by management from time to time.
