Mechanic
Job Description
Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced mechanic to join our team at a refinery plant. The mechanic will be responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment used in the refining process, including pumps, compressors, heat exchanger, and other rotating equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience in a refinery plant setting and possess strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills. Responsibilities: 1. Perform preventative maintenance on refinery equipment, including pumps, heat-exchanger, dryer, and other rotating equipment
2. Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with refinery equipment, and perform repairs as needed
3. Work with other maintenance and operations staff to coordinate and schedule maintenance activities and minimize downtime
4. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment status, and provide reports to management as needed
5. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and guidelines, including lockout/tagout procedures and personal protective equipment requirements
6. Perform equipment inspections and complete required documentation for inspections, including API inspections
7. Work with vendors and suppliers to order necessary parts and equipment for repairs and maintenance Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: $1,800.00 - $2,500.00 per month Schedule:
