Position: Mechanical Design Engineer

Semi Conductor Industry.

Basic: $3800 - $4500 (Depends on Experience)

Monday to friday

9am to 6pm

Location: Ang Mo Kio

Yearly Appraisal

Annual Wages + variable bonus

Responsibilities

1. To facilitate project/product application feasibility studies for customizations in test and assembly automation and equipment.

2. Representing the team and interpreting the customer\'s/business partner\'s needs.

3. Establish design specifications and generate project technical proposals for the Project Management team.

4. Generate pre-bom for the Project Management team.

5. Perform a proof-of-concept study to ensure the robustness of the original design concept and the components/equipment being selected.

6. Manage the procurement of system hardware, define project cost and control the total spending budget for the project.

7. Manage project risks to ensure success.

8. Implement ad-hoc activities and interventions anywhere gaps or issues arise in the course of the project.

9. Work closely with the Design and Manufacturing teams to ensure the projects are delivered in line with design specifications, goals, schedules, and quality standards.

10. The solution sourcing process must be aggressive in terms of project schedules or technical challenges.

11. Maintain regular communication with the Process Application Manager regarding the development projects.

12. Support the Manufacturing team in case of issues during assembly and integration.
