Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer

Our client was established in the year 1995 and they are specialized in automation systems and equipment. The company line of business includes manufacturing metal cutting machine tools.

:
- Responsible to conceptualize, design, develop and prepare costing for the design of Automation Equipment either in Cleanroom or Factory; typically from concept to completion with design changes during the manufacturing stage with a team of members- Exhibit a level of creativity and ingenuity, as well as problem solving skills, to provide reliable, cost-effective solutions to design issues and attend to Customers\xe2\x80\x99 enquiries- Creation and execution of continuous improvement in projects to enhance the reliability and lower the cost of existing platform systems- Ability to plan and execute strategies for completing projects on time and also work within the projects\xe2\x80\x99 budget- Check and advise team\xe2\x80\x99s work for technical accuracy to meet Customer\xe2\x80\x99s requirement- Assume the role of Engineer-in-charge to liaise with Customer on product requirement & Design & Commissioning of the product in Customer\xe2\x80\x99s facility- Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by Management

Job Requirements:
- Possess a Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 2-3 years of relevant experience - Proficiency in Solid Works 2D/3D and AutoCAD is a must - Good knowledge of design control requirements for IEC, UL, ISO9000 and SOP39- Ability to prepare and understand detailed fabrication drawings, assembly drawings and layout drawings using Solid Works Mechanical/AutoCAD and able to understand Engineering documents - Self-motivated, highly resourceful and organized; able to work under tremendous stress environment
