Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop mechanical components and systems using SolidWorks for Oil & Gas industry applications. Create 3D models, engineering drawings, and technical documentation in accordance with project specifications and industry standards. Collaborate with customers to gather requirements, clarify specifications, and deliver design solutions. Work independently to manage design tasks, resolve technical issues, and ensure on-time delivery. Utilize Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools to manage design data and document revisions. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and engineering standards across all design work. Provide technical input and support during manufacturing, testing, and installation phases. Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive project success.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in mechanical design, preferably in the Oil & Gas sector. Proficient in SolidWorks 3D CAD and PLM systems. Strong understanding of mechanical systems, materials, and engineering principles. Able to work independently with customers, manage expectations, and deliver high-quality outputs. Good communication and interpersonal skills. * Knowledge of industry standards and manufacturing processes is a plus.
