Job Description

Key Responsibilities


Support Engineering Directors in the development of internal mechanical design
concepts, including HVAC, ACMV, chilled water, CRAC/CRAH, and other cooling systems


for mission-critical facilities.


Review and provide technical feedback on consultant mechanical submissions to ensure
compliance with project requirements, industry standards, and best practices.


Assist in site planning, coordination of mechanical services with electrical, civil, and
architectural teams, and integration of mechanical systems into overall data center


design.


Provide subject matter expertise throughout the project lifecycle - from conceptual
design and detailed engineering through installation and commissioning.


Evaluate and optimize system efficiency, reliability, and sustainability, including energy-
efficient cooling strategies and mechanical redundancy (N+1, 2N).


Work closely with multidisciplinary stakeholders to deliver high-quality, scalable
mechanical designs that meet uptime and operational requirements.


Requirements


Minimum 5 years of experience in the data center industry, with strong background in
mechanical design and/or commissioning.


Proven expertise in HVAC/ACMV systems, chilled water plant design, air distribution,
and mechanical infrastructure for large-scale projects.o Strong knowledge of ASHRAE, NFPA, SMACNA, and local building codes relevant to


mechanical systems in mission-critical facilities.


Experience with energy modeling, CFD analysis, or sustainability assessments is an
advantage.


Prior project exposure in Singapore, Australia, India, or Japan is advantageous. Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Willingness to travel regionally as needed. * Based in Singapore (no prior Singapore experience required).
