About the role

• Responsible for Refinery/ Chemicals facility Mechanical design of greenfield/ revamped/retrofit from Basic Engineering stage to Detail engineering phase of small, medium and large projects.
• Ensure all documentation within the scope of their responsibility is prepared, checked (as assigned) in accordance with the Worley Management system for that project.
• Ensure all Supplier bids and documentation are reviewed for technical acceptance.
• To interact/Lead (on a case-by-case basis) a small team of Mechanical Engineers & designers from Home office (Singapore) and Support office (India/Thailand).

Responsibilities will include:

• Provide necessary technical assistance to other discipline design groups assigned to project attached.
• Communicate and interface with client representatives, other discipline Engineers and Support office.
• Provide support to inspection activities for equipment or as necessary.
• Actively look for value plus items that could be recorded.

Qualifications

About You

• Minimum of 8 years hands on experience for Basic and Detail Engineering jobs for Chemical/Petrochemical /Refinery/LNG Industries for all types of Rotating Equipment such as Compressors, all types of Pumps, Fans/Blowers, Agitators etc. Working experience/exposure in handling packages like Thermal Oxidizers, Cooling Tower, Chillers, Marine Loading arms, EOT cranes, Hoists etc. will be an added advantage.
• Bachelor\'s Degree (full time basis) in Mechanical Engineering from a reputed University.
• Core experience related to Refinery, Petro-chemical and Chemical Rotating (and Packaged) Equipment; Familiar with the Client guidelines/Standards of major petrochemical/refinery companies.
• Excellent knowledge and hands on experience with international Codes & Standards like ASME, TEMA, API etc. including excellent Code interpretation skill.
• Pro-actively pursue with commitment for personal well-being and for continuously improving health, safety and Environmental performance of the personnel working with you.
• Shall be hands-on with Mechanical Engineering software, quest to continuously improve IT skills.
• Competent in Microsoft Office applications.
• An excellent inter-personal skill including soft skills, interact and communicate effectively.
• Working experience with overseas Clients/Suppliers, exotic materials, multi office execution, site support etc. will be an added advantage.
