Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to propose and design machines, jigs, and fixtures for process automation in factories. The role involves conducting machine verification to ensure specifications are met and quality products are produced. The candidate will communicate and coordinate with vendors and project teams from concept design through to Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT). Responsibilities also include supporting the standardization of machine manuals related to maintenance and safety, assisting factories with new equipment, modifications, troubleshooting, and machine overhauls to achieve OEE goals. Additionally, the candidate will support and train local technicians in Batam within the department and factories.

Job Requirements

3 years' experience in Factory Automation machine design and automation Experienced in Autodesk Inventor and Machine Vision Able to understand basic PLC and HMI Able to work independently, self-driven, and analytical Effective Project Management skills and a good problem solver Able to travel to Batam and overseas when a project is assigned Added advantage if able to communicate in Bahasa Indonesia to liaise with colleagues in Batam
