Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for daily project supervision for repairs of vessels
• Ensure mechanical jobs are carried out effectively and productively to meet customer specifications and requirements.
• Ensure quality assurance on repair work and oversee assigned project to achieve delivery deadline and target.
• Lead a team of workers and sub-contractors to perform work on-site or in workshop to meet productivity target
• Deploy and utilize of manpower and material resources in the section, liaising with other departments on work schedules.
• Coordinate with transport during heavy lifting/transporting and check condition and status of lifting appliances/equipments and tools.
• Submit field/service report after job acceptance within specified timeline
• Provide in-process quality control support both in the workshop and onboard to ensure job completion within schedule
• Liaise with project manager (SRM) to arrange for inspection/acceptance as per required
• Inspect pre-service, disassembly, assembly and pre-delivery of all machineries - pumps, valves, etc
• Requisite and verify of spare parts for the service work.

• Degree/ Diploma in Mechanical or Marine Engineering
• Able to deal and communicate with both internal and external stakeholders effectively at all levels
• Possess man-management experience to supervise and deploy workers
• Possess high level of initiative
• Able to work under pressure
• Proficient in MS Office
• Willing to work in Changi area
• Only Singapore Citizen need apply

• 5 days work week
• Working Hours: 7.45am-5pm
