About the Role:

We are looking for a

Service Engineer

to join a dynamic team managing heavy construction machinery and workshop operations in a multinational company setting. You will ensure equipment runs reliably, safely, and cost-effectively, while driving improvements in maintenance practices and workshop efficiency.

Responsibilities:

Oversee repair, maintenance, and operation of heavy machinery and plant tools, including mechanical and hydraulic systems. Diagnose faults, recommend corrective actions, and supervise repair work to minimise downtime. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure optimal equipment reliability. Lead daily workshop operations, plan tasks, and coordinate equipment needs with project teams. Inspect new machines and equipment for quality and compliance with company standards Conduct regular audits and inspections of equipment and workshop processes. Monitor spare parts inventory, manage requisitions, and ensure efficient usage. Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities. Collaborate with management to improve SOPs, maintenance practices, and overall equipment reliability. Ensure full compliance with HSEQ standards in all workshop and yard activities.

Experience:

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Minimum 3 years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance; senior candidates with more experience will be considered. Strong knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic systems, diagnostic techniques, and machinery brands.
