Responsible in generator set assembly and testing. Provide general mechanical maintenance support for all process machinery and equipment in assigned area in accordance with specified Responsible in generator set assembly and testing. Specific Responsibilities Assembles generator sets Carries out engine and alternator alignment, fitment of coupling to alternator shaft and installation of cooling systems, exhaust system, fuel system, lubricating system and air intake system Assists in installation of completed generator set into enclosure unit Assists in carrying out load tests of generator sets and perform trouble shooting Performs duties in the generator set assembly process as assigned by Foreman Reports production problems and gives suggestions to Foreman for continuous improvement Qualifications / Requirements Nitec or Higher Nitec qualification relating to mechanical engineering preferred Knowledge of electrical engineering will have added advantage At least 2 ' 3 years of working experience in mechanical engineering / heavy industries Independent and responsible Able to understand and possesses basic mechanical fitment knowledge and uses critical quality tools.
