Job Description
Responsible in generator set assembly and testing. Provide general mechanical maintenance support for all process machinery and equipment in assigned area in accordance with specified guidelines and instructions.
Specific Responsibilities
- Assembles generator sets
- Carries out engine and alternator alignment, fitment of coupling to alternator shaft and installation of cooling systems, exhaust system, fuel system, lubricating system and air intake system
- Assists in installation of completed generator set into enclosure unit
- Assists in carrying out load tests of generator sets and perform trouble shooting
- Performs duties in the generator set assembly process as assigned by Foreman
- Reports production problems and gives suggestions to Foreman for continuous improvement
- Nitec or Higher Nitec qualification relating to mechanical engineering preferred
- Knowledge of electrical engineering will have added advantage
- At least 2 \xe2\x80\x93 3 years of working experience in mechanical engineering / heavy industries
- Independent and responsible
- Able to understand and possesses basic mechanical fitment knowledge and uses critical quality tools.
- Must be able to do overtime when called upon
- 5 day work week
- 8.30am to 5.15pm
- Location in Jurong
- Annual leave - 15 days up to 21 days
