Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform regular checks on engine oil, radiator water, fan belts, tyres & battery water.

2. Conduct additional checks for boats including centre and rear hydraulic oil, propeller shaft condition & water and oil level inside the hull.

3. Diagnose and repair minor electrical issues. Ex, repair/replace bulbs and wipers, microphone systems.

4. Purchase parts and collect items from suppliers or head office. Send boat's captains to and from the workshop when needed.

5. Attend to on-site breakdowns and assess issues. Provide recommendations on whether the boat can safely continue operation.

6. Perform emergency repairs such as battery replacement and dismantling the rear wheel axle shaft for towing purposes.

7. Monitor and verify third-party workshop repair checklists. Ensure weekly repair works are completed according to standards.

8. Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on open-top buses, such as maintain systems and components (Engines, brakes, electrical systems). Perform safety inspections to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

9. Administrative duties such as documenting repairs and maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.

10. Perform any other ad hoc duties or tasks as assigned by the supervisor or management.

Requirements:

- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in marine or motor vehicle repair, specifically on diesel or petrol engines

- Priority will be given to candidates with experience in marine engines or open-top bus diesel engine repairs

- Ability to work independently and handle emergency repairs confidently

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $1,800.00 - $2,500.00 per month
