Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities: Provide technical support to fully automated machines, injection moulding machines and equipment. Provide technical support to production, process, and technical teams. Provide technical support to software and validation/process engineers. Work with operation team to transfer automated equipment to production smoothly. Provide training and impart technical know-how to technical and operation team. Perform machine or equipment optimization and improvement. Create troubleshooting guides for machines and equipment. Monitor, generate report and follow up on machineries performances and propose areas of improvement to achieve better output, lower downtime, higher quality and cost reduction. Work with cross-functional teams on projects related to machine and/or process improvement and optimization. Develop and manage small improvement projects on existing processes and equipment. Manage, review and update SOPs. Perform change control. Plan and optimise time, resources and materials required for projects and trial runs. Ensure all relevant safety objectives and legal requirements are observed and met. Analyse data, identify root cause(s) and provide resolution to problems. Assist immediate supervisor in supervision, planning, scheduling and provide cost reduction recommendation or ideas. Perform any other related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.Minimum Job Requirementsa) Education & Training Diploma or Degree in Mechatronics or relevant engineering disciplineb) Experience Minimum 3 years of working experience on highly automated equipment & injection moulding machine. Experience in medical devices and pharmaceutical environment will be an advantage. Experience in optical injection moulding will be an advantage. Proficiency in mechanical drawing and possess mechanical troubleshooting skill. Ability to understand electrical schematic. Thorough understanding of robotics, control systems, and machine operation. Able to work under pressure and has strong troubleshooting skill. Must be a team player. Responsible and independent worker who requires minimal supervision.
