Job Description

• Engineering Consultant to all Heavy lifts Department\xe2\x80\x99s enquiries, from assessing Client\xe2\x80\x99s

requirements, feasibility check, manpower resources and advising/drafting of CAD drawings as part of document submission to relevant parties for:

• Lifting
• Mobile Crane
• Floating Crane
• Barges

• Review of all technical documents from enquiries, job awards and

documents/specifications from Client, Port Terminal and/or Contractors of:

• External spreaders for Lifting operations
• Deployment of Mobile Crane
• Deployment of Floating Crane
• Deployment of Barges

• After Action Review and Incident Reporting:

• Tasked to create incident reports in the event required
• Incident reporting to management in the event required.
• Give minutes and account to client immediately on the aftermath of the completed operation.
• Communicate promptly and accordingly with the relevant parties pertaining to any
• incidents and casualties.
• Be clear and speak with clarity should there be any concerns or opinions regarding
• the operations.

• To provide technical consultation to both Henderson and Pasir Panjang Office.

• Costing and review of quotations for tendering all Heavy lifts Department related

operations.

• Analysis of market demands and review available resources and sourcing of new business

partners.

• Supervise and lead Heavy lifts Department, plan and develop all lifting projects, and

oversee execution and quality control of CMS service.

• Oversee the maintenance of in-house gears and development of tools & procedures of

lifting operations.

• Oversee the maintenance of technical documents/information/correspondence for all

projects.

• Review of CMS Risk Assessments and SWPs.

• Conduct of Technical Training/Briefing to employees/workers/contractors and maintain

records.

• Oversee that all gears/tools necessary for the execution of lifting operations are prepared

in good condition and readied for job operation.

• Lead and maintain CMS\xe2\x80\x99s BizSAFE STAR and ISO certification.

• To schedule monthly meetings with management.
