This position reports to the Medical Manager. In this role, you will be focussing on primarily field-based duties.
The main scope of accountabilities includes but not limited to:

  • Collaborates with sales and marketing teams to develop scientific strategies that optimize NN products and development activities in the medical community in regards to clinical practice and identified unmet medical needs. Also, captures field activities and HCP interactions.
  • Provides scientific support for marketed products and development projects. Also, establishes productive relationships with key stakeholders and relevant institutions/organizations to achieve competitive advantage and market leadership within diabetes and obesity. Person will act as a bridge between Scientific and Commercial
  • Conducts training and educational activities for clinicians and other HCPs working with diabetes and obesity. Provides support for product campaign development & implementation. Plans Key Opinion Leader (KOL) engagement at local level and validate KOL lists and perform KOL mapping exercise twice a year
  • Develop advocacy for our products at local level in line with business needs: short-, medium- and long-term. Enhance disease awareness at all levels. Give higher-level scientific presentations at scientific meetings. Answer Medical Queries from HCPs. Share medical insights with cross-functional teams.
  • Informing the safety or medical responsible persons regarding the customer contact which is related to customer complaint or adverse event. Maintaining and updating monthly trackers.
Qualifications
  • PhD/ Graduate/Post Graduate Medical degree/ Pharmacist
  • Open to hire freshers or those with minimum 1 year of experience in Pharma or Clinical Research Organisation (CRO) or any related scientific industry experience.
  • Excellent networking capabilities and proven ability to develop and foster peer-to-peer, credible relationships with KOLs/decision makers.
  • Experience or knowledge of working within the Singapore Healthcare System and other guidelines relevant to the pharmaceutical industry. Also, adept at using digital tools in everyday work with an innovative mindset.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English, good presentation skills, and attention to detail. Proficient at translating medical/scientific insights into business opportunities/implications.
