Responsibilities
- Functions as a Medical Technologist for sample testing
- Perform PCR analysis for Covid-19 samples in the laboratory with little direct supervision by a senior MT staff.
- Performs routine and specialized testing of both moderate and high complexity
- Testing includes interpretation of smears and cultures, performing and interpreting identification and susceptibility tests, specialized testing in AFB, mycology, virology, parasitology and/or molecular methods as assigned
- Performs specimen processing, computer test order entry
- Verification of laboratory test requisition entry, and customer service-related duties
- Participates in quality control, problem solving, continuous quality improvement activities, inventory control, professional development and continuing education within the area.
- Min Dip/Degree in Biomedical Sciences/Biotech Sciences/Microbiology/Virology/Pharm Tech other relevant fields
- No experience required, training will be provided
- Meticulous and have good analytical insights
- Keen interest in the healthcare industry
- Able to start work immediately
