**Job Title: Medical Transport Operator/Ambulance Driver** **Job Overview:**
Aklaz Eduhealth & Services Pte Ltd is seeking dedicated and responsible Medical Transport Operators/Ambulance Drivers to join our healthcare team. As a vital part of our emergency medical services, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of patients to medical facilities, ensuring their well-being throughout the journey. **Responsibilities:**
1. Safely operate and drive ambulances or medical transport vehicles in compliance with traffic laws and company policies.
2. Transport patients to and from medical facilities, ensuring a smooth and secure journey.
3. Assist Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) in loading and unloading patients, ensuring their comfort and safety.
4. Maintain cleanliness and readiness of the ambulance or medical transport vehicle.
5. Communicate effectively with dispatch, healthcare professionals, and other team members.
6. Ensure proper documentation of patient information, transport details, and any incidents during the journey.
7. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.
8. Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a hygienic environment within the vehicle.
9. Provide assistance to EMTs during emergency medical interventions, as needed.
10. Uphold professionalism and compassion when interacting with patients and their families. **Requirements:**
1. Valid driver\'s license with a clean driving record.
2. Experience in driving emergency vehicles, preferably as an ambulance driver.
3. Basic knowledge of emergency medical procedures and protocols.
4. Ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions in emergency situations.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Physical fitness and stamina to handle the demands of the job.
