Job Description

Responsibilities:

Serve as the Principal-in-Charge (PIC) or Project Director for high-risk, high-profile aviation MEP projects across terminal, airside, and support infrastructure. Oversee and ensure high-quality, coordinated delivery of MEP systems (mechanical, electrical, public health, fire, ICT, and ELV). Lead technical reviews and approvals aligned with authority guidelines (CAAS, BCA, SCDF). Manage resources and coordinate with other disciplines to meet programme, design, and commercial expectations. Support integration of smart infrastructure, energy efficiency, and sustainability targets into all project outcomes. Chair high-level coordination meetings involving clients, design teams, contractors, and authorities. Lead site inspections, commissioning support, and operations readiness reviews where required Build and maintain strong client relationships within aviation, particularly with airport authorities, government agencies, and private operators. Foster repeat business opportunities through successful project execution and proactive client support.

Requirements:

Background in leading teams for the development, design and management of large, complex, long-term projects either as lead designer or Technical/Project Director. This involved coordinating multi-disciplinary teams, people, facilities, resources etc., within tight timelines and in line with budgetary constraints. Recognised relevant tertiary qualifications in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering. Professional Engineer (PE) licensed by the Professional Engineers Board (PEB) of Singapore or Chartered/Registered Engineer of a recognized engineering international institution equivalent to PEB in Singapore. 20 years of experience in engineering consultancy, including 5-10 years in complex aviation or large infrastructure environments. * Extensive experience leading MEP design and delivery for major terminal, airport precinct, or mission-critical facilities.
