The Opportunity:Adecco is partnering with an Australian Retail MNC with a global presence worldwide, and we are seeking a talented individual to join their business as a Merchandise Manager! Reporting directly to the Head of Merchandising and leading a team of 3, the successful incumbent will oversee stock allocation and inventory optimization to boost sales, gross profit, and minimize dilution, while steadfastly pursuing business objectives.

• Work days/hours: Mon - Fri, 9am - 6pm

The Job:

• Spearhead merchandise strategy and seasonal planning across all channels
• Lead a customer-centric team, ensuring precise stock allocation
• Analyze brand and channel performance to optimize sales and profitability
• Manage SKUs exit strategy, optimizing OTB and product freshness
• Provide volume forecasting and Distribution Center projections to partners
• Collaborate closely with Distribution Center for stock availability and efficient inventory flow
• Conduct regular site and store visits to adjust inventory and identify optimization opportunities
• Share insights and market trends to influence product investment decisions
• Attend brand milestones to ensure alignment with merchandise strategy
• Close liaison with VM and Retail partners for effective plan execution
• Establish clear expectations, review performance, and provide feedback using company\'s performance framework
• Prioritize safety and well-being with company\'s Safety Matters Framework

The Talent:

• Numbers-driven, analytically inclined with proficiency in handling extensive data, capable of conceptualizing and turning them into meaningful analyses
• Proficient in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table) is a must
• Detail-oriented, meticulous, and strong analytical skills
• Strategic mindset and strong commitment to achieving business objectives
• Ability to multi-task in a high-energy working environment
