• Position : Store Manager / Assistant Manager (Retail)
• Location : Thomson Road / Evans Road/ Queensway / Clementi
• Working hours : 5 day work week with shift either from 8am - 6pm or 8.30am to 6.30pm (2 days off on a weekday)
• Salary (commensurate with experience) : Up to $3800 + Performance Bonus + Annual Increment
• Duration : Perm

Main Responsibilities:

• The Store Manager is a very important member of the company as he / she is responsible for the implementing of company /management strategies and business plans. These are to be done in accordance with the company\'s stated procedures and standards, through proper planning, good execution and meaningful review of the results to move the company forward.
• He / she is to responsible in leading, motivating and inspiring a team of staff to prepare the retail unit to company\'s agreed layout and standards so as to maximise sales while managing expenses.
• He / she is responsible for the professional care of customers so that they will buy from us, will return again to buy and will also recommend us to their friends.
• He / she must understand and be clear about the company\'s strategies and business plans for the coming financial year.
• He / she must ensure that his / her deputy plan the manpower requirements for the coming month (period) by referring to the company\'s business calendar, staff annual leave plans as well as any ad-hoc leave request that the staff may wish to make.
• Manage the inventory, financial or other assents and property of the company so as to reduce and eliminate any losses or wastages.
• Being the Store Manager, he / she takes the responsibilities for the health and safety of all staff and customers in his / her store. This is achieved by ensuring that the store is safe with adequate firefighting equipment (including Fire Exits) and that they are not obstructed in any way. He / she is to ensure that the staff are all fully trained to use all the equipment in the unfortunate event of a fire in the premises.
• Ability to lead and train warehouse staff and all stakeholders on SOPS, so as to safeguard stock integrity of this company.

Requirements:

• Diploma with at least 3 year\'s relevant experience working with a team of colleagues in a customer facing position.
• The candidate must be proficient in Microsoft word and Excel
• The candidate must be conscious of health & safety of the team.
