Job Summary:

We are seeking a

highly experienced Metrology Engineer

to join our client in Singapore. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring precision in measurement processes, calibrating instruments, and maintaining compliance with industry standards. This role requires

deep expertise in metrology

techniques, data analysis, and quality assurance to support production and R&D efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement

metrology strategies

for accurate measurement and calibration processes. Perform

advanced dimensional inspections

, ensuring compliance with industry and regulatory standards. Optimize

measurement techniques

for precision manufacturing and quality assurance. Conduct

root cause analysis

for measurement discrepancies and recommend corrective actions. Work closely with engineering and production teams to improve

measurement methodologies

. Maintain and calibrate

high-precision measuring instruments

(CMM, optical comparators, laser scanners, etc.). Ensure compliance with

ISO/ASME standards

and contribute to audits and documentation efforts. Analyze and interpret

metrology data

, providing insights to enhance production efficiency. Train and mentor junior engineers on metrology best practices and measurement techniques.

Requirements:

Bachelor's or higher degree in

Mechanical Engineering, Metrology, or a related field

.

7+ years of experience

in metrology, calibration, and precision measurement. Strong proficiency in

GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)

and industry standards. Hands-on experience with

CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machines), optical and laser measurement systems

. Expertise in

metrology software

and data analysis tools. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to conduct root cause analysis. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in

semiconductor, aerospace, or precision engineering industries

. Knowledgeof

Lean Six Sigma

or other process improvement methodologies. Experience with Design of Experiments and ANOVA testing. Strong communication skills Strong analytical and problem solving skills
