Job Description


Role Responsibilities

  • Formulate, manage and drive the planning and execution of client-facing integrated marketing programs and campaigns to enhance product marketing awareness, reputation, consideration and commercialisation for transaction banking (cash, trade and working capital), collaborating with teams across Corporate Affairs Brand & Marketing and the CCIB business.
  • You will create, package, disseminate and amplify product content and messaging across multiple platforms and effectively target specific client segments and industry sectors to different Standard Chartered in a highly competitive market \xe2\x80\x93 all with demonstrable data & analytics and meaningful business outcomes.
  • Strong writing and communications skills, project management, and time management skills together with relationship building (stakeholders, peers and external agencies and partners) will be required for successful end-to-end workflow and management of complex marketing campaigns.
Strategy
  • Awareness and understanding of the banks and business\xe2\x80\x99 strategy to ensure campaigns support the delivery.
  • Support the Head of Transaction Banking Marketing in developing strategic plans to deliver CABM, Transaction Banking and CCIB goals.
  • Brief and prepare the Head of Transaction Banking Marketing and Global Head, CABM for key meetings with stakeholders, CCIB Marketing leadership team and others as required.
Business
  • Be responsible for leading the development and delivery of client facing marketing plans for Transaction Banking, ensuring a balance between global direction and regional relevance.
  • Work closely with product commercialisation specialists to contribute and support to the internal communication awareness agenda.
Processes
  • Manage and execute marketing programs in accordance with the budget; sponsorship, web and social media, and campaign reporting processes respectively, among other processes, as they arise .
  • Create, maintain and contribute to documenting of projects, programmes and campaigns to ensure learnings and best practices are captured are communicated, shared and used to continuously improve activities and the function.
People & Talent
  • Lead by example, be an ambassador for CABM to the business and other functions.
  • Learn from and contribute to the others\xe2\x80\x99 learning through sharing best practice, to improve deliverables, execution, processes and culture.
Risk Management
  • Stay abreast of marketing and the transaction banking business landscape to identify and anticipate risks and issues and work proactively to seek solutions and mitigate impact.
  • Ensure our activities are in accordance with Group policies.

Our Ideal Candidate
  • 8+ years of experience in Integrated B2B marketing and communications
  • Proactive, results-focused with strong project management skills, running and delivering multi-disciplinary campaigns and initiatives concurrently
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with a proven track record in fostering relationships across teams and geographies
  • Fast, persuasive oral, and writing and editing skills \xe2\x80\x93 able to gather information, set expectations, manage stakeholders, propose themes and topics, articulate messages, and drive others to achieve desired outcomes
  • Management of industry award submissions, including editing or writing of entries, coordination of multiple teams and inputs, award tracking, and internal communications
  • Practiced in successfully ideating, developing and delivering various product content formats and 360 integrated marketing programmes, ensuring content addresses client needs and challenges
  • Experience of developing sales enablement materials and packaging marketing assets for different audiences that help drive product commercialisation
  • Practiced in digital marketing, media planning, campaign analysis and campaign optimisation
  • Working understanding of marketing metrics and reporting including leads, conversion rates, social media engagement, etc. and ability to translate and articulate how they contribute to business goals/campaign outcomes
  • Event strategy, execution/management and event marketing experience
  • Ability to work in a high pace, high pressure environment
  • Ease working as part of a global team, whilst building strong networks with regional colleagues
  • Flexibility, adaptability and comfort with changing circumstances in a dynamic business environment
Role Specific Technical Competencies
  • Experience in Integrated B2B marketing and communications. B2B Transaction Banking /Financial services preferred
  • Exposure to Trade Finance, cash and/or working capital product familiarity a positive.
  • Degree educated or equivalent preferably in Marketing, Communications or a related field.
