We pledge to make Prudential a place where you can Connect, Grow, and Succeed.The Tech Product Owner role is responsible for overseeing the technology solution design and delivery of tech products to enable the realization of business outcomes, as well as the smooth transition into BAU and Technology Run & Maintain teams.In the medium term, the role will also lead the technology solution architecture design of our Future Finance Programme (FFP) MI & FP&A workstream. The individual will collaborate with the FFP MI & FPA Business Owner and Delivery lead as their key technology partner on the day-to-day execution of the FFP plan. This role will require a strong understanding of both technology (i.e. EPM platforms such as Onestream, Anaplan, Oracle EPM and data visualization and analytics platforms) and business domains (i.e. Insurance Planning Budgeting & Forecasting, Financial & non-Financial metrics incl. ESG, IFRS 17).Role and ResponsibilitiesAccountability of solution design recommendations, ensure alignment to global tech standards and roadmap, justification for recommendation in terms of business benefits and alignment to technology roadmap outcomesProvide timely and concise updates to Finance Global Tech Product Head and GTPC / SRC governance committeesLead and motivate diverse teams of technical specialistsUnderstand and analyze business requirements and translate into tech solution design ideasOversee Technology Architecture Design (application, integration, infrastructure) design of all Accounting & Reporting tech productsFacilitate collaboration between business (Finance/Actuarial) and technology stakeholders effectively in the co-creation of tech solution design ideas.Coordinate effectively with tech delivery leads in the planning, execution of tech product delivery and transition to Run team post go-live.Effective management of diverse teams, comprising of internal and external resourcesQualificationsMinimum 10+ years of relevant experience and proven track record within the Insurance industryBachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in relevant fieldsExperience in EPM and Data Analytics platform architecture & application design and deliveryCloud architecture designTechnology delivery project management experienceTeam leadership and management qualitiesEffective communication skills \xe2\x80\x93 written, verbal and presentation to senior stakeholders and large audiencesAwareness of Insurance MI & FP&A processesPrudential is an equal opportunity employer.
