Contract Period : 4 months (15 Sept 2023 to 15 Jan 2024)
Work Location : Jurong East
Working hours : 830am to 530pm (Mon - Fri)
Job Responsibilities
Conduct microbiology tests (challenge test, antibacterial, minimum inhibitory concentration)
- Develop microbiological data for preservatives used for personal care and home care.
- Evaluate preservative products and boosters to meet market and customer preservation needs.
- Design and carry out laboratory experiments on MIC, microbial limit, and challenge tests.
- Identify the formulation conditions to optimise preservative efficacy.
- Optimize blends of preservative and boosters to improve preservation efficacy
- Conduct microbiological evaluation to show product efficacy and benefits.
- Optimise the use of laboratory equipment for application work.
- Write procedures and operate the laboratory equipment related to application work.
- Write risk assessment and maintain safety compliance on all activities performed.
- Develop new protocols for preservative efficacy testing.
- Bachelor Degree in Life Science/Microbiology/Biotechnology/Chemistry
- 1 to 2 years related laboratory experience
