Key Responsibilities and Key performance indicators

Priva Solution Design & Implementation:

Lead or support the design and architecture of Microsoft Priva solutions (Privacy Risk Management, Subject Rights Requests, Consent Management, Tracker Scanning, Privacy Assessments) tailored to the organization's specific privacy requirements and data landscape. Configure and deploy Priva policies, sensitive information types (SITs), trainable classifiers, and workflows. Integrate Priva with existing Microsoft 365 services (Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams) and potentially other data sources via Microsoft Purview connectors. Ensure proper configuration for data discovery, classification, and labeling.

Privacy Policy & Control Enforcement:

Translate privacy regulations (PDPA, GDPR, CCPA, etc.) and internal privacy policies into actionable controls within Microsoft Priva. Monitor and manage privacy risk alerts (e.g., data overexposure, data transfers, data minimization violations). Develop and implement remediation strategies for identified privacy risks. Work with data owners to adjust access, delete obsolete data, or modify sharing settings based on Priva insights.

Subject Rights Request (SRR) Management:

Configure and optimize Priva SRR workflows for efficient processing of data access, deletion, correction, and portability requests. Oversee the end-to-end SRR lifecycle, from request intake to data discovery, review, redaction, and secure delivery. Ensure timely and compliant fulfillment of SRRs as per regulatory requirements (e.g., within the stipulated timeframe under PDPA).

Data Governance & Insights:

Utilize Priva's analytics and reporting capabilities to provide insights into the organization's privacy posture, data flows, and risk trends. Collaborate with data governance teams to align Priva's capabilities with broader data management strategies. Identify opportunities for data minimization and improved data hygiene based on Priva findings.

Advisory & Training:

Act as the go-to expert for Microsoft Priva, providing guidance to various teams. Develop and deliver training programs for relevant stakeholders on Priva functionality, privacy best practices, and their roles in privacy compliance. Educate employees on data handling responsibilities and the importance of privacy awareness.

Continuous Improvement & Regulatory Monitoring:

Stay abreast of updates to Microsoft Priva features, privacy regulations (especially PDPA in Singapore), and industry best practices. Proactively identify areas for optimizing Priva configurations and processes to enhance privacy protection and operational efficiency. Participate in privacy audits and provide relevant data/insights from Priva

Provide Expertise:

Act as the go-to person for all things related to Microsoft Priva, advising on its features, best practices, and integration within an organization's existing Microsoft ecosystem (Microsoft 365, Azure).

Solution Design & Implementation:

Lead or contribute to the design, configuration, and deployment of Priva solutions to meet specific business and regulatory requirements. This might involve setting up privacy assessments, data subject request workflows, and policy management.

Consultation & Guidance:

Offer strategic advice to clients or internal teams on privacy program management, data governance, and how Priva can support their compliance efforts.

Troubleshooting & Support:

Assist with complex issues, provide advanced support, and optimize Priva configurations for performance and effectiveness.

Training & Enablement:

Develop and deliver training sessions for users, IT teams, and privacy professionals on how to effectively use and manage Priva.

Stay Current:

Keep up-to-date with the latest Priva features, privacy regulations, and industry trends to ensure solutions remain effective and compliant.
