Position Title: Mid to high-level PHP Backend App DeveloperClassification: AssociateSalary: 60,000 - 120,000 a monthReports to: Client, Account ManagerPrimary Relationship: Client TeamDate: June 2022Schedule: 8pm-5am PHBackground: Under general supervision of IT Architect and Development Manager and applying continuous improvement tools and concepts, responsible and accountable for working in a small team of developers using an agile style development method to create meaningful solutions for a growing business.Responsibilities:

• Designs, develops, documents, and tests application software and systems

• Engages in a collaborative environment with business leaders, other software engineers, project managers, system administrators, and reports to the IT architect & development manager

• Ensures software quality and security compliance is met

• Troubleshoot, debug, patch, and improve existing software systems

• Duties require bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent work experience Position requires the attainment of internal continuous improvement certification at the CIP (Continuous Improvement Practitioner) level within established time frames.

Requirements:

• Experienced in git version control

• Knowledge of PHP, javascript, the http protocol and RESTful API design and development

• Working knowledge of composer and one or more PHP Frameworks (e.g. Laravel, Symfony)

• Experienced writing and optimizing SQL queries and comfortable designing databases

• Experience with responsive front-end design using HTML, CSS, SASS, NodeJS

• Professional verbal and written communication skills

• Experience and knowledge of agile principles

• Familiarity with the Linux terminal

• Familiarity with WCAG, WAI-ARIA, and accessibility practices

• Experience with nginx configuration
