Support the Head, Regulatory Regimes in the design and delivery of effective risk framework management of Individual Licensing related risks
Develop and roll out enhanced Individual Licensing Standard to ensure consistency in approach to managing requirements across the Bank.
Work with 1LoD to roll out tool to managing licensing requirements across the group to aid Bank in management of individual licences both in BAU and in Resolution scenarios.
Review and establish operating model for management of individual licensing
Business/Functions
Develop and maintain partnerships with CFCC Advisory teams as well as business to ensure effective management of licensing risk.
Partner with the relevant GPOs to drive simpler, faster, better execution of the Regime requirements across relevant processes that preserve the Group\xe2\x80\x99s compliance with regulations.
Work with HR as owner of Management Barrier to ensure individual licensing requirements are address in Resolution work.
Processes
Review how Bank manages individual licensing requirements bank wide. Assess whether a central \xe2\x80\x98process\xe2\x80\x99 under a single GPO is required to manage this risk type.
Work with the first line to establish any necessary processes/controls as required.
Identify what MI is required to effectively manage this risk on a group wide basis.
People and Talent
Review existing training available in the Bank and assess adequacy against revised Licensing Standard
Risk Management
Help to drive the embedding of Licensing related risk identification and good management practices within the first line.
Contribute to reporting to relevant risk committees on key risks and issues.
Governance
Assess need for a Licensing obligations register capturing all the regulatory requirements and the underlying controls, process owners, etc.
Regulatory and Business Conduct
Display exemplary conduct and the Group\xe2\x80\x99s Valued Behaviours and live by the Group\xe2\x80\x99s Code of Conduct.
Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. Our Ideal Candidate
10+ years of experience in compliance, audit and/or regulatory risk management roles, preferably with a focus on licensing and/or compliance with/enforcement of banking regulations
Established understanding of regulatory frameworks and banking regulations, and best practice risk management techniques
Proven experience with coordination of multiple dependencies and challenging stakeholders in a complex environment
Proven experience working with senior stakeholders
Good drafting and analytical skills
Personal authority, integrity, and ethics
Sharp business acumen, including the ability to assess risk
Team player who demonstrates strong interpersonal skills
