Key Qualifications

• A successful track-record or demonstrated proficiency as a software engineering manager.
• Hands-on, technical leadership strongly drawn close to the code and not just the design and architecture.
• Passion for diving into hard problems and inspiring others to build novel solutions.
• Directly collaborated with and offered insightful direction and feedback on technical architecture design reviews while defining the long term technical strategy.
• Actively coached and inspired your team with timely and practical feedback.
• Passion to recruit, hire and build high-performance engineering teams.
• Proficiency in building large scale personalization & recommendation infrastructure and knowledge of information retrieval & ranking algorithms
• Experience in distributed computing, micro-services architecture and server side technologies.
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous development solutions Experience with alerting, monitoring and remediation automation in a large scale distributed environment
• Familiarity with A/B experimentation and data/metric-driven product development
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skill involving team multiple team in different geographical locations.

AMP AI/ML app recommendation engineering team needs a strong, dedicated manager to join this organization. You will work with passionate engineers in a dynamic, technically challenging environment. This person will have a tremendous amount of responsibility and influence over existing and upcoming products that will delight and inspire millions of Apple’s customers every day. Ideal candidates are proficient in development methodologies, comfortable working with large code bases, and can balance multiple projects and deliverables. Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field and 5+ years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
