As the Mobile Surgery Leader (Director) for Growth Region you will be E2E accountable for the P&L and all operations of Mobile Surgery (MoS) in Growth Region consisting of 6 zones; Latin America (LATAM), Middle East Turkey and Africa (META), Russia and Central Asia (RCA), Asia Pacific (APAC), India Sub-Continent (ISC), and Japan. You will be accountable to create a growth plan and execute it with the teams in the zones closely.

You are responsible for:

  • The E2E Business and P&L, and everything that comes with it, for MoS in Growth Region
  • Develop clear and achievable strategies, objectives and tactical plans for the region based on key account management, customer centricity, segmentation, customer needs and market conditions synchronized with the SPOR/Strategic objectives
  • Transforming/re-designing and executing the G2M strategy to accelerate growth in MoS in the region and win market share, for both direct and indirect countries and channels
  • Lead partner selection, development, capability building, and performance management
  • Set-up, lead and drive sales and forecasting cadence
  • Build the strategic growth plan for MoS Growth Region and drive rigorous execution
  • Leads the MoS growth region SPOR process aligned with the annual cycle. Translate the SPOR strategy into clear targets, capacity and investments needed to achieve those targets. Based on strategic plans (SPORs), invest and (re)-arrange resources and capabilities to deliver on plans
  • Accountable for E2E business performance according to global KPIs such as Funnel Health, OIT, Sales, Market Share and Integral Gross Margin (IGM) through price realization in markets, A&P, Integral Sales Margin (ISM) and Marketing ROI
  • Be the go-to person for MoS in Growth Region, including executive report-outs in f.e. Monthly Performance Reviews, and be the representative of MoS Growth Region in both the Growth Region IGT-S Management team and the MoS Category MT

  • IGT-S Growth Region BU organization
  • You will report to the Head of Growth Region IGT-S and be part of Growth Region IGT-S Leadership Team
  • You will report with a dotted line to the MoS category leader, and will be part of the MoS global leadership team
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:
  • University degree and 10+ years of industry experience in the medical equipment business
  • Track record and experience as a sales leader, country manager or similar roles, within the medical equipment industry
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills to succeed in a complex stakeholder environment; ability to give people leadership to both direct and indirect reporting lines
  • High energetic profile with ability to inspire people to take action
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of sales methodologies and CRM tools s.a. SFDC
  • Experience to work in a business with complex market/channel structures
  • Ability to identify and evaluate fundamental issues, providing strategy and direction
  • Experience as an integrator in a highly dynamic market and /or matrix organization
  • Ability to build and nurture effective relationships within the matrix by developing strong cooperation with peers within the region, cross business, and cross function
  • Customer intimacy: driven by a strong external focus understanding the industry and market dynamics.
  • Results oriented: take personal accountability to deliver results.
  • Skills in collaborating with and influencing multiple stakeholders.
