Job Description
Job Scope:
- Be part of the team conducting routine genetic typing of vector-borne pathogens in Singapore.
- The activities aim to support the control of vector borne diseases through better understanding of the diversity, population dynamics and spatial distribution of pathogens.
- A diploma in Life Sciences or related discipline
- Strong interest in operational research related to public health
- Knowledge and skills in biosafety, molecular techniques (including PCR and sequencing) and genome data analyses will be added advantages
- Ability to work independently and as a team
- Computer literacy with knowledge of Microsoft Word, Powerpoint and Excel
